Agnes K. Ferderer, 90 of Harvey formerly of Flasher died Monday November 5, 2012 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Friday November 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Fairview Cemetery of Flasher on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Agnes was born on June 21, 1922 in Gervis, Oregon. She was the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Zacker) Theurer. Agnes grew up and attended school rural school near Elgin, North Dakota.
Agnes married Nick Ferderer on October 5, 1940 in Baker, Montana. They moved to Carson, ND and then to Flasher, ND. While living in Flasher Agnes worked at the Flasher Grocery Store for many years. Nick died in May of 1987. Following Nicks death Agnes moved to Bismarck where she lived until moving to Harvey, ND in 2009. Agnes enjoyed watching TV and doing crossword puzzles. Agnes was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and took great pleasure in treating them with her special Christmas cookies.
Agnes is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Gordon) Mayer of Harvey, and Judith (Richard) Rossow of Kalispell, Montana; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick; five sisters and one brother.
