Adrian Schwan, 49, of Bismarck, ND died suddenly at home Thursday, March 24, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe, ND.
Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Monday March 28, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Adrian J. Schwan was born on March 27, 1966 in Minot, ND to Edward (Eddy) and Barbara (Abrahamson) Schwan. He grew up on the family farm near Karlsruhe and graduated from the Karlsruhe High School in 1986. Adrian began dating Sandy Sommer and they moved to Warroad, MN where he worked at Marvin Windows. Adrian and Sandy were married on July 17, 1992 in Karlsruhe. They moved to Bismarck in 1998 and raised their two daughters, Abby and Tara. During his eighteen years in Bismarck he worked as a salesman in the automotive business selling everything from batteries to cars.
Adrian's favorite hobbies included riding motorcycle, hunting, fishing, camping, collecting coins and John Deere tractors. He also loved spending time out on the family farm working. He was also known for talking on the phone with his family and friends.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Sandy of 23 years of Bismarck; two daughters, Abby and Tara both of Bismarck; siblings, Steve (Janet) Schwan of Bismarck; Susie (Bruce) Lennick of Bayview, Idaho; Tom (Julie) Schwan of Bismarck; Billy Schwan of Dillingham, Alaska; twin brother, Alex (DeeAnn) of San Antonio, TX; Christopher Schwan of Montana; numerous nieces, nephews and amazing friends.
Adrian was preceded in death by his parents; Eddy and Barb; brother, Tim; mother-in-law, Patty Johnson.
