Adaleigh Kay Schmitt, daughter of Christopher and Veronica Schmitt of rural Towner, died on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck where she was born on July 23, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Norway Lutheran Cemetery south of Towner, ND.

Adaleigh was such an inspiring little girl.  She had her momma's determination, her daddy's spunk and a big brother who always had her back.  Adaleigh and her brother Benton had a special bond.  She loved to be snuggled and sang to.  There was a celebration with every milestone she met and/or exceeded.  She truly left some beautiful footprints on so many hearts. Although Adaleigh's time seemed so short, every minute was spent with unconditional love and well cherished.

Adaleigh is survived by her parents Christopher and Veronica (Eidmann) Schmitt; brother, Benton; maternal grandparents, Jim and Peggy Eidmann of Rugby, maternal great-grandmothers, Erna Eidmann of Minot and Janis Brandvold of Bottineau; paternal grandparents, Clem and Jodi Schmitt of Towner and paternal great-grandmother, Carole Peterson of Velva; aunts Kylie (Uncle Justin) Nygaard of Lincoln, Sarah and Lyndsey Schmitt of Towner, Samantha Eidmann and Georgina Eidmann of Rugby; numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Fred Eidmann, Gordon Peterson, Marvin Brandvold and John and Amelia Schmitt; great-uncle Robert Eidmann.
