Aaron was born to Deb (Meckle) and Dale Hauser on September 1, 1985, in Harvey, ND. He grew up on the family farm and attended Harvey Public Schools graduating in 2004. In his early years he spent much of his time playing with cousins that were more like sisters and brothers and going places with his grandma Irene.
Aaron was a man of few words, but he had a very loving and gentle heart. He loved working on the farm with his parents. There was never a day where anyone got angry with each other and occasional hugs were shared and "I love you" expressions exchanged while working was not uncommon. Aaron had a love of music, art and movies.
Eventually with God's help and a dating app, Aaron found the love of his life, Amina Ibrahim, on the other side of the world in Nairobi, Kenya. Last summer Aaron traveled to Nairobi and on July 9, 2024 he and Amina were married. He stayed for two more weeks before it was time to go home. They planned another trip for Aaron to return to Nairobi for New Years. They were able to share more in their short time together than many do in a lifetime. The pictures, stories, and adventures they shared were woven into a beautiful love story. Aaron adored his new family and told of his new labels of husband, son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle he gained when he married his precious Amina.
Aaron was a member of the United Methodist Church in Martin.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Amina Ibrahim Hauser of Nairobi, and his parents, Dale and Debra of Martin, ND. He was also loved by his aunts and uncles Dick Hauser, Bev (Tim) Held, Palmer (Arlene) Meckle, Barb (Myron) Michelson, Dan (DelRaye) Meckle, Darvel (Lori) Meckle, Kenny (Kate) Meckle, Dennis (Patti) Meckle, Keith (Ruth) Meckle, Noelyn (Jessie) Meckle, Kristen (Mike) Olson, grandma Diane Meckle; numerous cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Aaron was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, Elmer and Irene Hauser, Ted Meckle and Mildred Meckle, uncle, Paul Meckle, and others who went on before him.
Aaron's life was rich with love and that will never die. We are blessed to have had every day with Aaron and that he made our lives better. Thank you, God, for the gift of Aaron Hauser.
Amina's Eulogy for Aaron
Born on September 1, 1985, in Harvey, North Dakota, Aaron was the beloved son of Dale and Debra (Marie) Hauser and the devoted husband of Amina Ibrahim. Aaron was a man of few words, an Olympian introvert with a kind and gentle soul. He excelled in pencil drawing, painting, and never losing a game of Ludo. He was an avid collector and reader of comic books and authored one himself, though his shy nature meant he shared it with only a select few. Aaron also loved playing the guitar, often for a private audience of two, and cherished living a simple life.
Aaron approached life with the calm of an artsy priest (a true Thessalonians 4:11) and the joy of a child discovering the world anew. He had a deep appreciation for art, cities, markets, and cultures. He lived quietly but deeply. His life-long love affair with Mountain Dew, Reese's, peanut butter, and apple pie added a playful touch to his otherwise serene demeanor.
Aaron's fashion was uniquely his own, consisting of plain T-shirts by Fruit of the Loom, blue jeans, and an old, machine-oil-stained jumper or hoodie paired with a cap. His style mirrored his essence—simple, authentic, and unpretentious.
Whether working alongside his parents on the family farm or exploring the world around him, Aaron lived life on his own terms. He travelled where he wished, learned what he loved, fixed what he could, and cherished those he held dear. His legacy is one of authenticity, humility, creativity, peace, and love.
Above all, Aaron's greatest treasure was the life he shared with his loving wife, Amina Ibrahim. Their love story was magical in its simplicity, marked by slow dances in the living room and spontaneous late-night ice cream dates. Their bond was a testament to the beauty of shared moments and unwavering love.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Dale and Debra Hauser; his wife, Amina Ibrahim; and countless family members, friends, (and 4 rowdy dogs that he loved to bits) who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
To know Aaron was to know a rare and beautiful kindness that inspired everyone around him.
His memory will serve as a reminder to live with compassion, celebrate creativity, and embrace the simple moments that make life extraordinary.
Aaron Lee Hauser was not just a part of our lives. He was the best part. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered and loved.
Instead of flowers, Aaron would hope that you perform an unexpected act of kindness in his name.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
